Acount still active negative balance keeps growing

I have had with fnb shame... on the 2nd of november i asked them to close the gold account i had with them as i had just opened a better cheque account at standard bank i went to the kempton park branch filled in some documents and was promised that after they reverse all these debit orders they will be happy to close the account as i have been accumulating service charges due to debit orders that they kept on allowing, at this moment in time my sooo called gold account is in a minus R1640 and its due to transactions they authorised and service charges they also kept on piling, when i called the branch not even one soul knew about me closing the account after i spent close to 2 hours waiting to be assisted so now if they do not close thios account nd get rid of this balance i have no option but to open a criminal case against them with my lawyers... funny how they keep on asking how can they help us when they are soooo ignorant and inefficient do they even have an idea of what they are doing to my credit record by this negative balance
