Yesterday I spoke to a consultant telephonically to assist me with cellphone service and to see if I qualify for a credit card limit increase. He did a check and everything and said I qualify and even for a loan also. He told me to go to my nearest bank with my documents. So I took time off work this morning. I am working in retail, so my salary will be deducted as I have no leave left, just for mamelodi branch to tell me that I don't qualify. I phoned in the first place to see if I do qualify. Never in my live have I been this dissapointed and unhappy as I am a loyal african bank client. How can one business say two different things. No recommendation for african bank from me again!
