I am a regular customer of African Bank for the past 3 years I have had many loans with them, which have been Pd off. I am a very angry and upset customer because they are always advertising consolidate your loans with us and pay 1 installment. I have applied for this consolidation loan to be told that I don't qualify. How can they say I don't qualify I am currently paying almost R4000.00 a month. So if they can consolidate all my loans and make my payment say R2500.00 won't that benefit me? I have proven myself to them that I am a loyal customer whose payments are made every month. My other complaint is that I have a credit card with them. Many times they have sms'd me to contact them to increase my limit when I call I get told they can't increase my limit but they can offer me a loan. Please someone needs to explain this. I know people that earn not even half what I earn that have been given Credit Card limits of R20000 and loans of over R60000. I feel that African Bank needs to explain the criteria they require as I feel that they can assist me with a consolidation loan and an increase on my credit card.
