Grossly unhappy with Capitec Bank

After filling my car with diesel and wishing to pay, I was rather surprised when the transaction was declined. Upon second and third attempts, I was forced to deal with the fact that I was unable to pay, at garage nearly a hour from where I live. I was forced to leave my cell phone at the garage and return home to try and source money. Both frustrated and anxious I logged onto my internet banking to find out what exactly has happened to my money. This is when I noticed that Capitec Bank has debited my bank account two weeks early, for a loan I have with them. This is the third time this has happened!!! This, after never having made a late payment. I have set up a debit date for a reason!!! Why is Capitec allowed to take money from ones account whenever they like???

Another topic is what I think is enormous interest on a personal loan... 31%. But because I dont have my facts straight (ie. interest at other banks), i'll leave that issue for another day.

I have never been as grossly unhappy by banking protocol as I am today.

Needless to say, I yearn for the day I will no longer have anything to do with Capitec!!!
