I have been sitting without work for many months now. I offered to pay R20 a month until I get a job again but this was declined. I requested this in writing but still waiting. I requested to speak to managers but they refuse to listen. about 2 months ago I received a call again and was told I have to pay nothing less than R650, again explaining my situation she refused to accept it. I requested how much is OUTSTANDING to get me out of arrears and she stated she didn't know? This month I failed to pay the amount as my fianc? is helping me pay off all my accounts so I get threatening sms to pay within 24hours or further action will be made against me. well what could I do? Now Im getting attorneys contacting me. If these looked at my account during the time I was employed they would see my account was always up to date. Im willing to pay the amount OUTSTANDING ON ARREARS but no one can give me answers and when I go into Nedbank no one understands how the account works??? How can Nedbank promote such an account without knowing about it? I still haven't received by garage card which was paid for over a year ago. If a person is unemployed what are they meant to do?
