I attempted to withdraw an amount of R1000.00 out of my FNB account at a Saswitch Standard Bank ATM in Mokopane. The ATM did not have enough cash and only R300 was dispensed but the full R1000.00 was deducted from my accoiunt. I reported the incident on the same day and have till today not received any feedback. The bank manager of FNB Mokopane even made the comment that I should have asked the person responsible for the Atm if there was money in before I tried to withdraw. It is unacceptable that I have to beg FNB to refund my OWN money due to the fact that Standard Bank ATM services already confirmed that the money has been reversed on their side and transfered to FNB on the same day!!!
