On the 22nd of November at 12h52 I went to withdraw a R1000.00 from the autobank in Vaalwater. The machine malfunctioned and could not feed the cash. It indicated that "your cash has been retracted". I immediately called the call center number on the machine and reported the problem. The consultant said that the money would be reversed and that I should just be patient. The money was never reversed. I then went to the Modimolle branch and completed documentation in this regard. I have not heard anything, nor has the money been reversed. I opened my first Standard Bank account 30 years ago and have witnessed the service get progressively worse, I have now had enough and will be moving all my accounts over to FNB.
