My name is Azianewi Mutati. I have an account with Standard Bank. I currently have a case with Standard Bank and I have logdged a complaint but nothing has been done to assist me.

On the 27th of September 2013, I went to the Midrand mall Standard Bank ATM to withdraw money. To my surprise, when I entered my pin, it was displayed on the screen as numbers and not as asterisks (*). I continued with the transaction as my card was already inside the machine. But my card never came out of the ATM. Out of frustration; I went to the Midrand Standard Bank for help. While I was at the entrance, busy explaining the incident to the security guard and the manager, a sequence of withdrawals was executed from my account, R1000, R1000 and R2000 respectively. My card was stopped immediately after that. I then received a call from the bank saying that they will not give me the money because I didn't stop the card on the same day as the incident, which was not the case.
On the 30th of September I went back to the same bank to open a case of. Up to this day, the issue has not been resolved.
