Bad service and miscommunication

I applied for a home loan approx. 1 month ago at Standard Bank (whom I have been with for almost 20 yrs). I was sent an sms with a reference number to quote when phoning the call centre to find out how far my application was. Each time I phoned, they kept saying it was pending due to outstanding documents. Those documents were sent 3 times by the Property Developer. Finally, on the 1 month mark, I was informed that the application had been cancelled due to the forms still being outstanding, yet the Sectional Title division was aware of the forms and had them. My 21 days had lapsed and I accepted an offer from another bank instead. I have never been so disappointed and disgusted in the service I received from a Financial Institution that I have supported for so many years!
I have decided to change banks too!
