Lodged a claim on the 13 November to date I can not get any feedback from ABSA. The call line number 0860112225, is not answered. I have held on for up to 40 minutes & then been cut off.

There is an option of leaving a message. Do not bother as no one ever calls you back.

Eventually, today, after holding on for 43 minutes my call is answered, but she can still give me no details and still needs to contact an assessor & arrange for my claim to be assessed.

Even tho I have informed her that they have already sent an assessor out, but according to their records this has not happened so they need to send one again, that means I need to take another day off work to be at home.

The service is so unacceptable. Actually there is no service whatsoever.

It is so frustrating as you can not get hold of anyone to complain.
