Insurance Claim Feedback is Non-Existent

My lightning conductor was recently damaged in a severe storm. As it stands my conductor is not fully functional and should the house be struck by lightning a fire could ensue not to mention the conductor is about to snap in half and cause further damage to my property. I lodged a claim online on the 30th November and I received no feedback after 1-week. I then contacted ABSA's insurance call centre and lodged the claim on the 5th December (claim number: 2497821). I was supposed be contacted within 48-hrs of lodging the claim and to date I haven't been contacted (7-days later). I have been trying to contact someone at ABSA's claims department (0860112225) for the last 3-days. Everytime I hold for on average 13-minutes and the call either just rings or it rings and the call is ended. This is extremely frustrating since it is a rather urgent matter. Please can someone from ABSA advise what is going on!? As it stands my contents insurer will not cover me should a fire ensue.
