Hi, I drew money from a Standard Bank ATM in Doornpoort Pretoria on Saturday afternoon about 17:00. The machine never paid out the money, but deducted it from my account. I reported it to my bank (Nedbank) on Monday morning. Yesterday I tried to phone Standard Bank help line, but all they do is put you through to another person, and you need to tell the whole story from the top. The third guy put me through to Nedbank! They did not help me, I still have not received my money back in my account. This is how Standard Bank supplement their banking costs, they the money from ATM users and never pay them back. They say 48 hours after the incident the money will be back in your account, but I do not know where they learned to count, we are going for 120 hours... STILL NO MONEY!!! People do not use Standard Bank ATM's. If they do give you money they pay out too little, and you never get the money back.
