Last week my Nedbank card was cloned. On monday, 02/12/13, I noticed and immediately phoned the call centre to stop the card. Later that morning I went to Nedbank in Edenvale as it is the closest branch to my office. I filled in all the requested forms and asked what will happen to my debit orders. I was told by the manager, that none of my payments will be done as there is no money in the account and if they have a problem with that, they can call him directly.
I found out from numorous Nedbank branches that I was supposed to receive a letter from nedbank stating that my card was cloned and that the account is under investigation. I then logged another call with the complaints department. I am still waiting for the area manager to give me a call and advise!
The service is a disgust, and after this issue has been resolved i will be closing my account with Nedbank.
