Claim nothing happened

I am very disappointed with ABSA home insurance. We put in a claim on the 29th of October after a hail storm. Our ceiling in living room collapsed. Everything was damaged. Up until today nothing has happened. We had the ceiling fixed at our own cost, but the carpets needs to be replaced and the room needs to be painted. I have been phoning and after holding on for half an hour at a time I am still not closer to getting an answer, because everything is automated and I am not able to speak to a consultant. My advise to other customers is not to use ABSA home insurance.
