I lodged a claim with ABSA home insurance for a sagging ceiling in my living room on Friday morning the 3rd of May. I was told my claim will be referred to the CT branch. And I would get feedback within 48hrs (which is pathetic in the first place!). It is now Tuesday afternoon 7 May and no response. SO I phoned CT branch and no one picked up, so after 10 min I hung up. I phoned the JB branch again and it appears that my claim had not even been assigned to anyone in the CT branch! I asked the gentlemen to get someone from CT branch to call me back since I can not get through. I am not holding my breath...
