I have lost a phone and it cannot be replaced by insurer two weeks ago, the reason is that i lost the phone at airport. I called service provider to help with blocking the phone using EMEI number and it was done and i got a reference number. I then look for proof of purchase so that i can claim from insurer but i was told i did mention that phones EMEI number in the insurance so i cannot claim for it. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy note ll.
