I took call insure insurance after I bought my N8 Nokia phone with MTN in 2011. I lost the phone on weekend at a funeral and reported it to MNT. they gave me ITC reference number and I opened a case with the police. I called the insurance today and spoke to Imdiyaaz, he told me that I have to pay an access fee of R740 before the phone can be replaced. I told him I didn't know about that information before and he told me to check my contract. How do I check my contract if you guys have NEVER sent me anything, you only debit the money every month end but you never sent me any letter. I'm sure you don't even know my postal address but only my account number.

it is not fair to your customers to only know the positive side of your insurance and nothing about the negatives. When I took the insurance, no one mentioned the access fee. The only thing mentioned was that the phone will be fixe3d if damaged and replaced if lost or.

I need my phone because I have a business to run with that phone
