I have had a cell phone, which was insured. I cannot claim from insurance without registering the phone with the service provider, Autopage. I have attempted to do this on at least 4 occasions by phone. I am still awaiting the call back or email notifying me of the " registration number" for the insurance claim. It has been months since I reported the phone to the police, insurer and Altech and the only hold up is Altech. It is now probably too late to convince the insurer that this is still a valid claim. I trust Altech will replace the brand new phone due to their incompetence should the insurer not be willing to do so.
