Good day.
I'm disappointed in Mibfa. Once again I turn to Hello Peter as a last resort seeing that my own efforts bear no fruit. I resigned from my job, because I had it working for labour brokers. After 4 years of dedicated service they still wouldn't make me permanent. I submitted my provident fund application on 22/07/2013 at their KZN branch. A friendly face told me that I have to wait 3 to 4 months. On the 3rd month I phone to find out what's going on. Their. System said that they received my application in august. I waited another month.25/11/2013 and they will call me back, nothing happened. I phoned again, because they are over due on their time. The system was offline and they said they will call me, once again they didn't. I called again on 29/11/2013.They tell me that they scanned my documents the day before, that I have to wait 3 to 4 months from that date. This is unacceptable, now I have to wait 6 to 8 months. The joke is on me I have dept to settle. I told debt collectors that I will settle in full when the fund pays out, unfortunately my dept insurance don't cover resignation. Now these people want to take me to court, cause I've exceeded 4 months and still nothing from Mibfa. Pl help
