Nedbank bad service

We live in an area without cellphone reception, therefore Nedbank have to load beneficiaries on our behalf for internet banking.

Due to new regulations we have to pay SARS our self from our Nedbank account. The lady at Vredendal said that our only solution was to drive into town (hour and a half gravel road) and pay at the branch as Nedbank cannot load SARS as a beneficiary for us.

I asked her if there was no way that Nedbank could accommodate us. Absa could accommodate us in this regard. She said no. I asked her if I could speak to someone who could maybe help me, head office? manager? She said no (sighing in the phone repeatedly) and she would not give me any other numbers. This was a dead end.

The lady from Vredendal later phoned back later to give me the number of the area manager who should be able to help us. This was what I was asking for all along - why the dismissive attitude from the start?
