I applied for a re adance on my bond account.the reason for this was to settle some debt and for my sons university admission.i am aware that i have debt and my idea was to seek help from the bank for the re advance so that i could get out of my difficult situation.i was declined the re advance with the reason that i must settle my debts so that the bank can approve my re-advance.how in will i be able to settle my debt if the bank that i am asking for help is refusing to assist me.i have been with nedbank for 21 years and have a clean record on my bond account.i guess these thing dont account for anything anymore.i is really disappointing that after so many years of loyalty the bank cannot do anything to help me in my time of need.the application clearly asks for details of which account will be settled from the loan amount and that was stated.then i get told telephonically that it does not apply it is just there for because it has to be.then the nedbank promise on the website is it there for show as during this whole episode nobody did anything or suggested a solution to help this customer.i guess only our money is good.
