We experienced lightning damage to our TV's and the decoder about two weeks ago. Firstly when i called to log a claim the agent Bomzi (Alexander Forbes) did not understand the process and a manger Nicolette called me back to explain the process. An assessor was assigned and eventually collected the goods. Permly advised that the goods could not be repaired and had to be placed. I explained that the assessor that collected the items should purchase and reinstall all the goods they removed with our DSTV SMART they moved from our premises. Today two weeks later after numerous calls and e-mails (of which i still have proof) the claim has not been settled. As customers that pay our monthly instalment faithfully we have no TV. At least it's not a life insurance policy. I just wonder why do we have insurance? I'm utterly disappointed in BMW insurance and Alexandra Forbes.
