I had experience some damage to my roof and kitchen due to heavy rainfalls last year October/November 2012. My wife had put in the claim to Alexander Forbes as I had been overseas and dealt with a gentleman by the name of Frans Namanyana who received our claim form at the end of November 2012. Mr Namanyana sent me a discharge form on 5 Dec. 2012 for the damages to my kitchen only and when I mentioned he did not include the roof he then advised that they would need to send out an assessor. The assessor did eventually come out in December to assess the damage to my roof and only provided feedback on 7 January 2013. The assessor then sent me mail to advise that Alexander Forbes had declined my claim for the roof as it was damaged as a result of maintenance. I of course had no correspondence from Alexander Forbes in this regard and found it strange that the assessor was liaising on their behalf as my contract is with Alexander Forbes. I then requested Mr. Frans to provide me with the engineers report as I wanted a second opinion. I received no response from My Namanyana or Alexander Forbes up until now. I am still also waiting for Alex. Frobes to setlle my claim for the kitchen
