Trying to get a Home Loan for R500 000 for a R1m property where I will pay the other R500 000 cash. Because the complex cannot give me their audited 2012/2013 financials as they are currently being audited Standard Bank are not prepared to go ahead to process my loan application even though they assure me that it has nothing to do about affordability.
I've banked with them for over 40 years and have a very good credit history. Loyal to them for too long? Going to look for another bank soonest!!!
