I had and overdraft facility whereby in June I authorized a reduction of a lump sum amount. Was basically forced into the agreement by Nedbank. When the reduction was due I sent a mail to say I was not in a position to allow such a reduction and if the could place a monthly reduction on the account. The full reduction in fact did take place. I was called by the call centre to advise that my account was overdrawn. I explained my situation and was informed that it was in order to pay the R500 off monthly. This also never happened, no arrangement was noted on the system. I pay the R500 a month into the account every month. Trying to sort this out you phone one call centre who refer you to collections call centre who refer you to the branch who in turn refer you back to the collections call centre. My tenant paid my rent money into my cheque account in error instead of my bond account. I am now told they cannot transfer the moneyn to my bond account. So my bond goes into arrears and I will be receiving another phone call. The deposit is clearly marked that it is rent and refers to which property it is paid for. At the collections call centre I am told nobody can authorize my transfer.
