On the 13th of November I went into the Fourways branch of FNB to find out about a credit card/ loan. My credit card application was declined due to my risky credit profile. I found this unbelievable as I have always kept my accounts up to date and paid. I then went onto Trans Union to check on my credit status only to find that my rating is a 958 out of 999, an excellent rating with all my accounts paid up to date, no defaults listed or judgments against me. How i ask if my rating is this excellent, does my application for the credit card get declined. What happens if i need to come to my bank for a larger loan for my house one day or something else that requires a large amount of money??? I switched to FNB in hopes of better service but i have yet to see this.
