I changed my bank account and then updated my details on the discovery life web page. I changed my debit details and requested the debit be taken on the 15th of the month. I then revieved a letter in the post from Disvovery life stating they could not debit my account as the account was closed. The letter stated that i would have 20 - 30 days to correct the situation or my account would be closed. I decided to wait for the 15th to see if the debit would go off as requested. However at 16h45 i got an sms and an email saying my life cover had been cancelled. When i tried to call, there office hours are from 08H00 to 16H00. Please explain why send a letter saying i have 20 - 30 days to fix then 5 days later cancel the account! Why give an option to change your details on their web page but not accept the changes! This is a serious breach of service. Then also why send an email only after buisness closes so i can not correct the situation, i find this very unfair!!!
