I recently changed insurance and before my cancelling with FNB i called Dial Direct to cover me so i never am without cover. The said insurance commenced on the 1st of November 2013, during the said telephonic conversation with their consultant which lasted at least 40 minutes where i gave the consultant my new address as they had the old one on their system (I was previously with Dial Direct before changing to FNB), i remember this very well as the said consultant requested for me to spell the estate's name etc. Last week i call Dial Direct as i wanted to enquire about Tracker and the consultant advised that my address did not match what was on their system. I then confirmed to her that she needs to listen to my conversations as allegedly recorded by their offices and more specifically that of the 1st of November 2013, she said she would and call me back and to date, she hasn't! She then calculated my "new" premium which is almost double the amount of what i am currently paying. I told her that that was absurd considering that i declared all information to the best of my knowledge to be true and correct and furthermore, my premium has already being debited off my account.
