Shocking Service at FNB Home Loan Division

I approached FNB 2 weeks ago (whom I have been banking with for 10 yrs I decided to go directly to their office in Fairands. I called to schedule an appointment and the call center was of no help at all. Eventually I drove to the office without an app. Ingrid Coombe assisted me. Her response to any question was: "Yes, thank you for asking." After filling in the forms I was told that the application would be submitted to a consultant the following Monday. I was instructed that if i submit a copy of my degree it would qualify me for better interest. I submitted a copy of my degree the Monday morning and eventually got confirmation. Each day I phoned the call center and was once again told that "my application was received today - but we await your degree". Then later on they could tell me the name of the consultant. When i phoned to speak to him, i was informed that he doesn't work there. Eventually I received pre-approval with a very high interest rate. I said I want to negotiate. I was told that it will need to wait for the property assessment. The property . took place and the interest remained the same. FNB doesn't want to negotiate the rate. I will churn to another bank.
