Standard Bank
Debit order bounced for a mere R53 rand short

On 2 October 2013 my car finance debit order was bounced by Standard Bank for a mere R53 short in my business account. The account is 10 years old - and I've NEVER had a RTD on the account. I pay a monthly "account management fee" of R37 - even though I've been managing the account myself. I wasn't even called / warned by my so-called "account manager".
After the incident, I paid the car finance company and I emailed a Formal Complaint to Standard Bank. I demanded my R115 returned to my account (charge for RTD) and a letter of apology to the car finance company.
The auto-reply e-mail service promised a response within 24 hours. However, I had to resend my letter 48 hours later. Bernice (no surname) phoned me and said it would be sorted out by Monday 14 October. Nothing happened. I resent the letter on 23 October - and the response was: "I have forwarded your e-mail to your Business Banker, who will contact you for assistance."
STILL NOTHING!! Today, 13 November 2013, I'm still waiting for my R115 and the apology letter.
There is a helpline I can call - but we all know what a life-draining experience that can be.
This type of service is unacceptable!
