On the 15 October 2013 the local branch of Standard Bank gave me the fax number for Standard Bank home loans to which I must send my request to transfer our bond payment from my bank to my husbands bank. I sent them a letter on the 15th and 17th October requesting this and have had no response to date. I have proof that the fax was received by them however. Standard Bank however still put the debit order through my account this month and were very lucky that it was met. It definitely will not in future. It is amaizsing that this is the second complaint I have had with Standard Bank in 3 months with them not responding to instructions given then. Standard Bank are now advised that I have cancelled my debit order so it is in their best interest to contact me or find the faxes that were sent to them if they want payment of our bond account.
