Appaling service received from Absa- Braamfontein

After countless visits to Absa - Braamfontein trying to fix the disfunctional debit card they gave me. This was the last straw. After payday on the 26 January 2013 I withdraw R550, 00 in the morning when I came back from work I took my two kids went to the mall with the intention of buying groceries, food and put on petrol, guess what the card wouldn't swipe or withdraw money 4 the sixth time. I was stuck with two kids at a mall with no food, no money and no petrol. I was devastated, people were not available to assist me. I had to resort to asking money from people who were passing by at that mall. I have never been so ashamed and weak in my entire life. I feel that ABSA abused me and my children, it turned me and my children in to beggars and left me with no food/money the entire weekend because of their dysfunctional card. On Sunday 27 January 2013 I had to fetch my grandmother in Mpumalanga Hazyview, I couldn't do that since my card was not functioning. I had to hire a special transport to go and fetch her, Now I owe this neighbour who transported my grandmother an amount that I didn't even budget for.

All of this was caused by a disfunctional debit card i was given by ABSA
