Absa

I have attend the Absa branch in Tygervalley twice in one week due to the fact that there was a problem on my card which did not allow me to withdraw or swipe the card. Twice the bank staff ensured me that there was nothing wrong with the card but internally the withdraw option was changed to No, which they twice changed to Yes and confirmed that I can still use the card after I requested to issue a new card. Tonight while I was at home two withdrawals from an ATM in B/Fell was made from my account, the first one for R1000 and the 2nd one for R550. I have immediately contact the help line on the sms and the call center advise that I have to go back to the bank and they will investigate the matter.
I will attend the same branch tomorrow morning and expect them to replace the card on Absa's expenses and refund the money immediately, I am not willing to wait for the fund to be returned and I hope Absa have security camera's at that ATM where that money was drawn as it should be part of their security to protect their clients. In my opinion, if the staff member has replaced the card on the first visit even if it was just for the security of the client, this would not happened.
