I deposited money into my account and left not noticing my card did not come out the machine in Bluff Standard Bank. Within exactly 2 min in the parking lot I received an sms to say R500 was with drawn from my account. I immediately thought my card was cloned and stopped the card. When returning home I noticed my card was not with me. I called the dept and reported it. I tried asking for security footage because there was only one person behind me and she would have made a transaction straight after me at 17:30 and the bank said I need an affidavit which i got and still they could not help due to me having to wait for the dept. I then received a call about 13 days later and they said they cannot pick up activity. I then continued to explain that if they were to view the camera footage of the bluff bank they could pick up the transaction made after mine and she said she would call me back. This happened in September! I called today 08/11/2013 and they said my case was dismissed without my notice due to me not cancelling my card immediately! Which I did!! They then proceeded to tell me I need to obtain my itemized billing on my cell to prove it.
