Standard Bank

3 months ago, late at night I was on my way home and stopped at an absa 'satellite atm' at a Total garage. I withdrew R200 with my Standard bank debit card and received my card but no cash. I then got an sms to say R200 was taken out of my acc. and a further 3 seconds later I got another sms to say the transaction had been reversed immediately as I did not receive my cash from the ATM. The same thing happened on Friday night at a Standard bank ATM at Thibault square branch, except this time it was with R500 and the only sms I received was to say that the R500 had come off my account. I then asked the security guard what i should do and he suggested i phone the atm helpline. I called and they advised me that I would have to go to my nearest branch on saturday morning to have the transaction reversed immediately. I then went to my local Fish Hoek Branch and was advised I would have to wait up to 15days for an answer on getting my cash that the ATM! Both times I used my Standard Bank debit card and with Absa it is immediate but with Std bank I have to wait up to 15days for an investigation? Is this honestly the customer service that Standard bank offers? HOW CAN WE NOT HELP YOU?
