Bad Idea to open internet banking as a solution

I opened internet banking because I stay far away from capitec branches.
so it will be convenient for me to make payment online.
I used the token that I paid R 50 for once and the next day the token is no longer linked to my
account, how does that work. I need to make urgent payments, I phoned them and they say there is nothing they can do. I have to go to my nearest branch which is far away from where I live.
