My car was broken into on the 5 Oct in PTA, it was not drivable... and all my valuables like my car radio, gps, camera and flashes was. ABSA says I was not covered for anything therefore they not paying for anything... however that's another issue... I received a car hire from Avis on the 8 Oct. My car was sent to Renew It Panelbeaters in Randburg on the 11 Oct. The insurance only authorized the claim on 21 Oct therefore it was sitting idle at the Panelbeaters... whose paying for that?..the manager at Renew it told that the job would take about 15 working days to do. Now I receive an SMS saying the car hire is due back tomo 6 Nov and my car is still not ready. I have not heard from my insurance since the 15 Oct. And the loss adjustor told me that he will call me regarding a value that I will get from the insurance as the value of my things are so little..they consider losses of hundreds of thousands... to date I have not received a call back from the loss adjusters or my insurance broker regarding this... is this the service we receive from reputable financial services like ABSA INSURANCE...
