I phoned Nedbank customer care on 27 September 2013. explained to the consultant that I need a payment to be stopped to USAFIS. He assured me that the payment showed pending on my account and that he will stop it immediately, not to go through. He gave me a reference number 64869492. I accepted that this transaction will be stopped. However I phoned the next morning and received confirmation from another consultant that this has been done. However I realised 1 November 2013, when my debit order went off, that the amount has been taken from my account. Please advise how this is happening. I have lost a lot of money, which will force me to cancel my account with Nedbank, and then also make arrangements to pay off R 200.00 per month, as I have managed my credit card well to ensure that I can afford it. I followed all the right procedures, to no avail.
