On the 05/10/2012 my father withdrew money from his account, the card got stuck and he immediately phone the nedbank contact centre to stop the card while standing at the ATM. The lady he spoke to assured him that the card has been stopped. After feeling so happy that his card was stopped he walked away from the ATM and 15 - 20 minutes after an amount of R3000 was withdraw.. When He contacted the call centre to advise what happen they said they can see that He phoned in to cancel the card and they can see the time that he phoned and the time She cancelled the card. Now the question is does Nedbank incompetent staff just say this to make you feel better or do not know jow to do their job.. We Innocent people trust the bank with their money is no longer safe.. Now the matter has been referred from the one person to the next and lady responsible is sleeping very peacefully at night. No one can help with my father. Do we have to go to the ombudsman to get results.
