Upon having my car written off wrongfully, I was asked if I wanted to have 3rd party insurance while I repaired it myself (for less than I was quoted for by my insurance company and after importing original parts from the UK), which I did not want. I then received a policy amendment and have been getting charged for something I didn't want... No one ever gets back to me and now I have resorted to the Ombudsman. I will make a point of NEVER using your services and telling every person I know and highlighting to people I don't know that this is the worst insurance company to use. I am also in the process of contacting the re-insurers with the details of my claim too, seeing as noone here in SA seems to be able to tell the truth or keep their word. I am sure they will be more than happy to help me, since Telesure/Dial-Direct point blank refuse to perform any kind of customer service! I have dealt with a number of consultants who clearly have no intention of actually helping or following through with promises!!
