NO SERVICE FROM CALL CENTRE

A large amount of cash was paid into my bank account yesterday morning. The money was not available and had to be cleared first. After visiting a branch yesterday and spending the whole morning on the phone with the Call Centre, they said it must be checked for first before they can clear it which I understand completely. Which I don't understand is why my other money which was already in my account is put on hold or whatever to clear the large amount first. I can't withdraw money at the ATM nor can I swipe my card, it's been declined all the time because of this. The lady at the Call Centre which I spoke to last said I can use my bank card now everything is okay with the other amount that was in my account and I can withdraw money now while waiting for the other amount to be cleared. Guess what, just came from the ATM, my card been declined! I don't have any cash on me, can't buy ANYTHING and can't pay my rent and it's more than 24 hours since the money is paid in which the bank said it will take to clear. Just leave my money that was in my account so that I can withdraw it to buy food!!
