ATM swallowed my debit card, later I found that ALL the money I had in my bank account was missing, later proving to be.

The transaction took place in Constancia Park, while my card was used at Gezina centre. This process happened within 10min form using my card to driving to the bank, the two are literally 10mins away from one another

All standard bank had to say was "You must push the cancel button on the ATM before inserting your card". This happened to relatives of mine, fortunately only their debit cards went missing and their money remained in their accounts.

Standard bank dose not protect their clients, they do not replace malfunctioning ATM's even after numerous complaints and they take no responsibility for and/or when or takes place at their ATM's
