Billed after policy cancellation request

I cancelled my policy yesterday at 13:10, yet, today my bank acc reflects that i have been charged for another months cover - that i do not have.
usually the payment is deducted on the 1st of every month and for some reason it went off the 29th of this month?

Please advise as i do not see the point of paying an extra month of insurance cover when i am indeed not covered for the month of November 2013.

Assistance in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
