I cancelled my car insurance policy with Dial Direct over a year ago and was insured through another company. As far as I was aware I no longer had any policy through Dial Direct. About a month ago I received a letter from Dial Direct with regards to a different policy I had with them (I was not aware of this policy!). I then realised that Dial Direct had been debiting my account monthly, for over a year, for a policy I was not aware of. I immediately called the call centre and cancelled the policy and requested that they find the recording where I had agreed to this policy, and if I had not agreed to this policy I wanted to be refunded. I was informed that this would take 7 working days in order for them to get the recording. It is now over a month later and after making numerous calls to their call centre I have never once had a response from Dial Direct to resolve this matter. I expect to hear the recording where I agreed to this policy! Should Dial Direct not be able to produce this recording I want a refund!!
