Standard Bank determined to leave me broke

I have had a run of very bad luck with employment since February this year and as a result have struggled to meet my monthly obligations. I have made arrangements to pay all the amounts owed since I started a new job towards the end of August, and so far every company with the exception of Standard Bank has been perfectly understanding and helpful. My RCP with Standard Bank was somewhere in the region of R800 in arrears, My monthly instalment was R694. I made an arrangement to change my payment frequency to weekly instead of monthly because my salary is now paid weekly, as well as making an arrangement to pay my arrears amount off over a period of 12 weeks. I was shocked and horrified when MORE THAN my entire weekly pay was taken by the bank to pay my RCP, and I incurred a bounced debit order charge on top of it. This charge was subsequently refunded, however, after being told the overcharged RCP payment will be refunded I was later told that the overcharged amount on the RCP "Can not be refunded because the account is in arrears" What is the point of making an arrangement if the bank reneges on it?! I have once again been overcharged today. 2 weeks in a row. Unacceptable!
