I have been Standard Bank's client since 1989 & my life revolved around them (Homeloan, Credit Card, Loan, Savings account etc). I had the misfortune of being out of work for almost 2 years & my accounts fell into arrears & so was my credit profile which was excellent before. I am aware of my obligations & therefore had to make means to pay my arrears accounts & bring them up to date. BUT HOW DO I DO THAT WHEN STANDARD BANK DEBITS MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT WARNING ANY TIME THEY FEEL LIKE . On 04/12/2012 I enquired about settlement balance on my Blubean Card & was given amount which I paid. In Jan and Feb 2013 I did not pay because I knew this was settled only to find that on 20/03/2013 a debit order was processed for Balance??? which I am not aware of resulting in my Homeloan Debit order reversing unpaid. I have been trying since 25/03 to get this reversed & refunded so that I can pay my Homeloan but am not getting any joy. I also queried amounts debited from my account without my authorisation but was told that I will have to pay for that info which alas!!! is STD Bank & I have been holding for 10minutes to get assistance. Never ever will I ever use STD Bank. I am so
