I complained on hello peter 2 1/2 weeks ago and standard bank had called me to resolve the problem. After telling them to pull out call records to varify that i had made and arrangement to pay my card, BUT credit card division still took out R3500.00 from my savings account. Today i get e-mail after standard bank did an investigation, The credit card division indicated that an arrangement was made BUT the arrangement does not change the fact that i owed them money and they have the right to take my money from my savings account. THIS IS WHY THEY CALLED ME TO MAKE THE ARRANGEMENT. WHY ARE THEY CALLING CUSTOMERS TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS, IF THEY THEMSELVES ARE NOT HONOURING IT. ( THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND MY MONEY BECAUSE THEY FEEL THAT THEY CAN DO AS THEY PLEASE. THE CREDIT CARD AGENT TOLD ME THAT IF I PROVE THAT I MADE AN ARRANGEMENT SHE WILL REVERSE IT, THEY ARE NOT EVEN STICKING TO THEIR OWN POLICIES.
They have an investigation departments who have no say in the investigation, are they their to help the customers or help standard bank
I AM ACTUALLY THINKING OF CHANGING BANKS
