I visited the Alberton branch today after a long sick bed to pick up my credit cards. Once again the line at enquiries was horrific and no smiling faces at the counter. After about 5-8 minutes in the line, without any movement, I left it as it felt like I was going to pass out, looking for a floor manager or some manager to just look for how much longer they will keep the card. With no one is sight, I asked a small lady if she can direct me to someone that can assist and all she said in her unfriendly manner - go back to the enquiries line.
I eventually knocked on the manager's door to find all the managers (same unfriendly faces as at enquiries because how can I interrupt their meeing) there with a small coloured lady coming to assist. She went to enquiries with my id and came back saying "normally they keep it 3 months" I can't even remember what happened last week due to my illness so how must I know how much longer will they keep these cards?
What happened to pushing beyond boundries for clients? Is this a sign to move on?
If this is the manner Nedbank continues - they will not win the Ask Africa award any time soon again
