Hi, I am very upset about the way I was treated at Nedbank today. I applied for a Netbank credit card and recieved an sms that I could pick up my card on the 10th July with my ID and proof of residence. I waited in line at enquiries and when I presented my short term insurance document I was told that they could not accept because my physical adress was only on the 4th page even though my name and policy number is on all pages. I was then told to get a rental aggreement from CNA or the like and bring it back. As it is a standard rental aggreement my landlord made changes on the contract to for example make notice period 3weeks in stead of 2 months etc. these changes were all initialed. This was rejected today again because of the changes. I was told the only way was to retype the document and bring it again. I was upsetand made that clear. I was refused to speak to their FICA department and a supervisor (Lundi?) implied that I am uncapable to understand. I was then refered to the manager and as I left the enquiries counter the lady helping me at first made comments to her next customer and laughed. I was never so embarrased in my life and left.
