Admin hold on account

I have been banking with Standard Bank now for many years, i m very happy with them overall but a recent event has left me very disappointed, i had a credit card 8 years ago and it has ben closed, i recently applied for a facility and they tell me there is an negative admin hold on my account, i made the necessary enquiries and sent them a settlement letter, I was then advised that the hold on the admin side will take between 2 and 7 hours to be removed, when i called abck, they tell me 7-14 working days, i find this unacceptable as this account has been settles years ago, This is no fault of mine if their system is not updated, had i not applied for this facility i would not have known that there is athis hold on my account. I need this removed asap.
